FurnitAR
FurnitAR is an android app that uses marker-based AR technology to superimpose a desired piece of furniture into your home environment with ability to resize, relocate and change design.
The main aim of this application was to make the process of buying furniture online easy. Current buyers are skeptical of buying furniture online as they are unsure of how the furniture will look, whether it will fit in their room, whether it will match with the room and many more such questions.
FurnitAR solves this problem by leveraging the use of Augmented Reality. The process is simple:
- Select the furniture item
- App recognizes Image target
- You can view the furniture in your room
- Easy sharing feature to get feedback
